On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, the Board of Trustees and the Senior Team held a Special Board Meeting to share information about their response to the Minister of Education regarding his financial and governance questions of the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB).
At the Special Board Meeting, YCDSB trustees and staff explained that we are on track to eliminate our deficit within the government’s timelines. The board also shared that YCDSB students consistently lead the province in academic performance. Trustees committed to completing additional governance training before the end of the school year so they can best serve our school communities.
